JC – Blackheath 221 all out
Mariners 180-6 ish in 35 over game
Very spirited mariner performance ….without their different level opener (coming in for a net!) could have been a village cricket classic
WW – We sent a village side to play Sunday cricket and ended up watching a “pro” batsman and dodging (some) 70 mph deliveries in a Saturday game.
They were a nice bunch and we gave a very good show but they don’t understand Sunday cricket.
On to a normal fixture next week at Dunsfold.
