Brilliantly masking the disappointment of the half moon being closed to settle the pre match nerves Mariners posted an alarmingly high 242 with top calypso knocks and special mentions to Methers, Will, Barnesy and debutant George. Kirdford all out for 77 with yet more special mentions to Kai and Dan for great opening spells and Jake/Mark for turning it yards to mop up. And as hard as this is to write victor ludorum for field athletics goes to Fred “steepler” Hodgson for a quite incredible catch out in the deep dark boonies. Back in the pub by 6 rounded off a worryingly perfect Mariner display. Bring on the Lynch!
