AMCC are a wandering village cricket side, we don’t have a home ground but instead enjoy our particular brand of friendly matches as guests of other clubs around the home counties of England. - 2022 – AGM
We’re kicking off the season with a belated AGM at The Crown in Chiddingfold on Thursday March 31st. It will be a 7pm meet for a 7.30pm start to the meeting.

There is a net booked Tuesday 19th April 7-9pm – if you can make it message the Whatsapp group!
- CRICKET IS BACK…
The Ancient Mariners have ridden out the storm and returned to action with our first game of the 2020 season at Ockham on Sunday. There is a scorecard and match report here and you can see all the upcoming games on the 2020 Fixtures Page.
We now have a fixture for every weekend up to October 10th! Thanks to our Fixture Secretary and all those at the other clubs for helping to get the show back on the road and give everyone something to look forward to over the coming months.
Obviously things are still a bit different to normal when playing and watching cricket so here is a link to the latest guidance from the ECB on how to enjoy cricket safely:

- MARINERS ON LOCKDOWN
Like the rest of the sporting world we are just waiting to hear when we might be able to get out and do our thing. The kit is ready – there is new balls in the bag but unfortunately for now that is where they are staying.
You can see the proposed fixture list on the 2020 Fixtures Page but if and when any of those games will actually take place is anyone’s guess right now.

- 2019 AMCC DINNER
The AMCC dinner was held at “The Crown Inn”, Chiddingfold on Saturday 30th November. Thanks to all those who attended, it would appear a wonderful time was had by all.
Congratulations to the Trophy Winners:
Freddie Hodgson scooped up the Bowling Cup and (narrowly) the Batting Cup as well.
John Hook was honored for his services to the club with the Founder’s Cup.Jake Holmes was presented with the the ball that took his 1000th wicket for the club.
